Two people have died and one other man has sustained serious injuries following a single vehicle collision on the R28 in Krugersdorp.
The events leading up to the collision is unclear at this stage, but a single bakkie had allegedly veered from the road before overturning down an embankment. There were three occupants in the vehicle, all believed to be aged in their 20′s. As the vehicle overturned it ejected two of the occupants from the vehicle.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found that the two men ejected from the vehicle had sustained various fatal injuries. The other man had sustained serious injuries in the form of a head injury as well as a suspected broken arm.
The man received treatment at the scene before being transported to a nearby medical facility for further care. Local law enforcement officials attended the scene and will be investigating the cause of the collision further.
